“Rocky Mountain Trappers”

Born in Rosine, Kentucky and raised in Middle Tennessee, David Wright is a highly acclaimed artist known for capturing the region’s scenic beauty and rich American history. With more than forty years of painting experience and advanced study in Europe, his work has earned numerous awards and placement in prestigious museums and private collections.
Rising to national prominence in the 1970s through his limited edition landscape prints, Wright went on to focus fully on fine art, becoming widely recognized for his historically informed portrayals of the American frontier, Civil War, settlers, and American Indians. He now ranks among America’s premier artists and resides in Gallatin, Tennessee.
