March’s Art of the Month:
“Comer Barn”

Judy has had a lifelong passion for drawing and painting.
After a 30-year career in healthcare finance, she returned to her first love, earning her BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Louisville in 2016. Her final exhibition explored contemporary portraiture inspired by the dramatic chiaroscuro style of 17th-century Caravaggisti.
Today, Judy creates figurative oil paintings, including portraits, pet portraits, and place-based works. Her commissioned pieces are held both locally and internationally, and she is an active member of Monthaven Arts & Cultural Center and Bugg Hollow Plein Air Painters.
