Janet Hamilton is one of our newest local artists and focuses primarily on contemporary abstract painting. She is a master at creating vibrant, multi-layered works that explore the dynamic relationships of color. Working with oils, acrylics, beeswax, spray paint, and found paper, she applies paint with knives to build rich texture and depth. Her rhythmic, often chaotic patterns and bold palettes evoke emotion and energy, blending structured design with spontaneous expression to capture her youthful, passionate spirit.
