Born in Canton, China, artist Frank Gee has lived in the Nashville area since the age of five after moving here with his family. Soon after coming to Tennessee, Gee discovered Mill Creek, a small stream located near his family's home…and so began his love affair with water and painting.

He continued to hone the craft as he earned his Masters Degree from the State University of New York, Brockport. After retiring from 33 year career of teaching art in Rochester, New York, David moved to Gallatin, Tennessee in 1999 where he is able to put all of his attention to his true passion of woodworking.
