A Virginia native, David has been working with wood since he was an undergraduate at the State University of New York, Buffalo. He continued to hone the craft as he earned his Masters Degree from the State University of New York, Brockport. After retiring from 33 year career of teaching art in Rochester, New York, David moved to Gallatin, Tennessee in 1999 where he is able to put all of his attention to his true passion of woodworking.
